The danger isn't one spiked story; it's that the 'center' is where people learn what counts as a reasonable position and a real scandal. Owners censoring themselves + the 'opposition' folding into one Trump-aligned company = a slow narrowing of what the middle will chase. Not propaganda by decree — a market in attention whose owners set the odds.
